Get An Edge - Get Involved NOW! Don't wait until you graduate to learn about the benefits of networking through the International Association of Business Communicators. Start meeting communication professionals already working in the jobs you're considering for your own future. Join the IABC/St. Louis Student Chapter TODAY and reap the benefits for a lifetime. Student Membership Open to full-time students of colleges, universities and other educational institutions as well as part-time students working toward a degree, who are not presently working in the communication profession (Dues are U.S. $35.00. Additional local chapter and district/regions dues may apply). Student transition: Covers current student members up to one year after graduation from college or university. The regular application fee is waived and the student pays half of the international dues (plus full district and chapter dues). Student Membership Benefits As a student member of IABC/St. Louis, you'll benefit from the same programs and resources that full-dues paying members receive in addition to special programs created just for students. These include: Local and National Job Banks: You'll have access to both our chapter's online database of St. Louis area job opportunities and to special sections of IABC International's online Job Centre. Professional Development Luncheons and Events: Meet and network with practicing communication professionals while expanding your knowledge at these regular events. Most monthly luncheons feature a guest speaker and cover various communications and professional topics. Student members pay a reduced price. Bronze Quill Awards: Students are encouraged to submit work in any Bronze Quill category, and will be judged separately in the Student Division.
